We make stock each week for our local market so often we will have the hat ready. However, sometimes, we will have to make the hat to order, depending on availability. Typically, we can send the hat out within 3 business days, even if made to order. If there are any delays, we will let you know as soon as possible.

Washing instructions: Cold hand wash or in lingerie bag for machine mash. If you have any stains, just pre-spray before washing. Once washed, the hat can be spun dry, pushed back into shape and then hung in the shade using the linen label: just pull out the lining and hang by the tag.

Have a look at our size chart below for sizing. To determine your head size, simply measure your head using a tape measure around your head, above the ears, and as far down the forehead where you want the hat to sit. If you prefer it looser or if you wear your hair up, you can order the size up.

    Hubby Ben bought this for me; knew how I loved my first hat which I had for years and think I may have accidentally tossed out recently when I was decluttering, sob! Many years ago, I bought it at Eumundi markets. [There's no date on your website as to when you started ... could I have bought it not long after, big grin ... perhaps not good for your sales to let people know your hats last forever - although it was starting to wear gently so I would soon have replaced it - on the other hand maybe this fact will encourage others to buy a lasting product, big grin.] Your hats are great and fit my larger head size. My first was of a soft smooth strong natural cotton; very handwashable/scrubbable; it went everywhere with me, folded up in my bag or on my head, got grubby at times but came up well after a wash and always looked good; went with everything and protected me well. People often commented on it so I was able to refer them on.
    This one is of a tougher calico, and I chose a wider brim and folds into a larger 'bundle'. Absolutely protective and looks good. We'll see if it softens up after a wash but it is terrific regardless. Thank you for your valuable hats.

    Finally I have found a stylish hat that fits!! I have a large head and extremely thick hair, finding a comfortable hat has usually resulted in me wearing men’s hats to get the size.
    The hat is so well made with plenty of sun protection that I went straight back and bought another!!

    I purchased this hat for my wife she already has one and loves it, but it sometimes gets left at home or in the car that we are not in, so it made sense to get her another one and she is very happy.

    Thank you for creating a hat with such a generous brim. I finally feel totally protected. Thank you for the XXL sizing. I usually find it very difficult to find such an attractive hat and this fits great.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
